We care about quality & performance.  In our earnest pursuit of creating the finest product, Bon Viveur candles are put through numerous & continual burn tests. Wax, wick and fragrance must all work harmoniously in order to bring you a candle safe enough to burn and fragrant enough to scent your space. 

 

Before each burn, always...ALWAYS... trim your wick! 1/8" to 1/4" is goals to achieve maximum burn and scent throw.

Allow time for your candle to burn for a minimum of 2hrs and up to 4hrs before extinguishing.

Much like our muscles, candles have memory!  Meaning we can condition it to always perform at it's optimum.  You want to create a full melt pull to the sides of your vessel. 

Keep your candle free of debris and wick clear of mushroom carbon to avoid smoking when lit.  

 

 

 

2 Wick 60+ hours Will fill multiple rooms in a house or apartment

1 Wick 40+ hours Great for small spaces e.g., bedrooms, bathrooms, office & etc...

 

Wicks take all of the blame and none of the glory in what determines a good burning candle. Rightfully so.... wicks play a major factor!

Our wicks are what is called "self-trimming". If you see them curling down when lit, with a slow even burn...they're doing their job! This prevents those nasty mushroom clogs.
